The Power to Deliver Exactly What You Need

Since 1987, WAJA Associates has been providing world-class power, automation, electrical and control systems to the New England area and beyond. From a one-time custom control panel to volume quantities on a set schedule, our dedicated team of engineers and technicians bring together a wealth of knowledge ensuring you always receive exceptional products along with quality service, competitive cost and prompt delivery.

WAJA has extensive experience with many types of applications including; motor control centers, power distribution panels, variable speed drives, control panels and switchboards. Operating from a 16,000 square foot UL listed facility conveniently located in Foxboro MA, we have the resources to build from your design or ours.

WAJA also offers a wide range of engineering and support services. Our widely experienced field service engineers are available to provide services such as start-up, training, programming and application assistance.

GiG2 Group retained the services of WAJA Associates to conduct multiple lab tests and product experiments on the Voltage Control Guard (VCG LPHF). They used their ANSI C12.20 class 0.5 revenue grade metering systems to conduct the tests. The question was asked, “why publish results of some tests and not all tests?” We have used the relationship with WAJA to test product development prototypes that are not for release yet. We also conducted multiple single product tests and instant tests as well as the published 24 hour on/24 hour off repeatability tests. We chose to publish what we feel is relative and informative regarding our currently available products.

Third Party Test Data Set Up

Test was an ANSI compliant test bench

  • Primarily lighting and computers
  • Computers configured to run continuous “memchk.exe”
  • Provides for more consistent load than just sitting in idle

ConzervUnits

  • Chosen at a specific customer request
  • Commonly used for enterprise-wide power management
  • Capable of networked monitoring and data logging to a standard PC

Test:

  • 24 hours without VCG LPHF
  • 24 hours with VCG LPHF

Results

Test Bench mostly isolated on it’s own feed

  • Approximately 200’ from building transformer
  • Connected to building main with dedicated feeder

Note performance is ~7%

  • System was 3 phase
  • Results expected to be similar to commercial
  • Recall µ of commercial results is 9%
  • +/-2% is within reason given number of variables
